From Silicon Valley software sales to running dive operations and managing a five-star resort — and back into European SaaS — this is where the perspective behind the work comes from.

Fifteen years of real operations.

Most consultants tell you how to run a business. This perspective comes from actually running them — across multiple countries, industries, and high-pressure environments.

From dive boats and liveaboards to resort operations and SaaS, the common thread has always been the same:
When systems are unclear, time gets lost.
When processes are manual, mistakes multiply.
When communication breaks, revenue follows.

That’s what this work is built on fixing.

2005–2009

Silicon Valley, USA

Jessica starts in software.

Before the dive boats and the operational environments came Silicon Valley. Four years in software sales built an early understanding of how technology gets sold, how businesses make decisions, and what makes a product actually stick.

2009

Bali, Indonesia

A turning point.

In 2009, Jessica left Silicon Valley to travel and entered the dive industry. What began as a change of pace became years of hands-on operational work across international service businesses.

2009–2013

Asia · Caribbean · North America

From instructor to operations.

Working across demanding operational environments meant managing guests, logistics, communication, scheduling, and quality under pressure. This is where the cost of weak systems became impossible to ignore.

2013–2014

Belize

Managing a five-star resort.

Responsibility for the guest experience ran from first enquiry to final review — including staff coordination, logistics, communication, quality control, and the systems needed to keep standards consistent.

2015

Mexico

Building a business from scratch.

After years of improving systems inside other operations, the next chapter was building one from the ground up — shaping workflows, communication, and service delivery around what actually works.

2016 onward

Europe

Back to software, with a different perspective.

Returning to the software world brought operational experience into SaaS sales and commercial roles — with a much clearer view of where tools help, where they fail, and why adoption matters as much as the software itself.

2018–2025

Europe

SaaS, systems, and scale.

Across European SaaS environments, the same pattern kept appearing: tools bought but underused, teams still relying on manual work, and businesses carrying friction that better systems could remove.
